Midwest-Western Region Sisters of Continental Societies, Incorporated
Greetings from the Midwest-Western Region of Continental Societies, Incorporated. What an awesome start to another fantastic program year. We are home to the first National President, Lillian Parks Thomas from 1970 to 1975. We are poised now more than ever to continue the legacy left to us by our beloved founders.
The Midwest-Western Region represents 7 chapters in 6 states. Each of our chapters actively impact their communities by delivering meaningful programs that contribute to the success of our children today and in the future. Our focus remains on providing outstanding programs in the areas of Health, Education, Employment, Recreation and the Arts & Humanities (H.E.E.R. + Arts & Humanities)
The Midwest-Western Region is home to award winning chapters and exceptional programs. Annually, Chapters and the Region make it possible for over $20,000 in scholarships to new college bound and students in technical colleges and programs. As we celebrate Black History Month and The African American Read-In, the Midwest-Western Region is poised to read to over 10,000 children.
Please check back frequently to learn about the exciting things that we are doing in the Midwest-Western Region. Our passion is our children. We’re excited about our organization’s 60th year history of excellence in providing programming for children. Please do not hesitate to contact us through our website.
